Alternative Options

Abortion is not your only option. There are many alternatives that you can choose.
 There are thousands of people that would love to adopt. At least 30% of Americans wish to adopt. You can also use Plan B and prevent even the pregnancy. Whatever you decide to do, abortion is never the answer. Killing an innocent human being should not even be an option. Many pro-choicers argue that later in the baby's life they will feel "unwanted" or that they'll grow up in poverty. How about instead of fighting for abortion, you fight for support groups that help adopted children? How about you create an organization that helps unfortunate families? A baby is not better off being aborted.

The Reality of Abortion

Many, many women face problems after they have an abortion; mentally. A study shows that after 500 women had an abortion, 50% of them expressed negative feelings. 10% of them developed serious psychiatric problems. 

Within 8 weeks of their abortion, 55% expressed guilt, 44% complained of nervous disorders, 31% had regrets about their decisions, and 11% have been prescribed psychotropic medicine. 

Many of the women who get abortions are young teenagers. They don't understand that they're killing a human life when they get an abortion. When its finally done, they realize what they did was wrong but theres no turning back.

Women who had an abortion are 3 times as likely to commit suicide than someone who didn't. 

This crisis needs to stop and abortion needs to be illegal. Making abortion illegal will not only save the lives of millions of babies, but it will also save the mothers life too.

• What if the baby was conceived in rape? Its not right to put the mother through that.

Its not right to murder an innocent baby either. Abortion will always be ethically and morally wrong. We do have to put the mother in consideration and feel sympathy for her situation. If I was in her situation I would consider it too, but I would never think it was the right thing to do. It is a selfish act. The mother is choosing her well being over an innocent life. 

• What if the baby was going to be born into poverty? It would have a horrible life.

There are many, many people that were born into poverty and are fine. There a millions & thousands of single mothers raising a multiple children all over the world. To assume that they will have a horrible life just because they are poor is one of the most offensive and ignorant things ever. If you think somebody is better off unborn than poor, you need to check yourself.

• What if the mother isn't ready? 

No, the mother doesn't want to be ready. She doesn't want the baby. Hundreds of years ago, it was normal for teenagers to have babies and they took care of them fine. This isn't even an argument.

• Isn't a fetus just a blob of cells?

No. Human life begins at conception.

• Most pro-choice people argue that a baby in the womb is just a 'clump of cells.' At 14 days, the baby develops a heart beat. After 17 weeks (where abortion is still legal) they can feel pain. • Abortion may cause medical complications later in life. The risk of ectopic pregnancies doubles and the chance of a miscarriage and pelvic inflammatory disease also increase.
• Most women who get abortions are young and lack life experience to understand what they're doing; killing a life. Many have lifelong regrets afterwards.
• 1/3 of our generation have been murdered.
• Every year 50,000 babies were killed after 20 weeks. Thats 5 months along.
